Next Meeting, Tuesday May 6, 2014
Our next meeting is on Tuesday,May 6th. Our Guest
Speaker is Dave Sekeres, who will give a presentation
on "Everything you need to know about Fly Lines
".

In honor of former President Herman Abrams, we are
sponsoring a week of Environmental Sleep-Away Camp
for a youngster between the ages of 11 and 14.  If you
have a child or grandchild who may be interested,
please notify us right away.  They will also be required
to write a brief explanation of why they would like to be
chosen.   You can see all about the camp at

River Bay Outfitters has opened in the town of
Oceanside.  It is a new shop that specializes in the
sport of fly fishing and is located at 445 Merrick Road.  
The owner (and former LIFR President), Paul McCain,
has been active in fly fishing for over 30 years.  For store

last fall!

Master lost his battle with cancer
and passed away on June 19th.  
Gil was an awesome fisherman
and will be greatly missed by his
many friends in the Long Island
Flyrodders.
